December 13, 1961 — Washington D.C. — Diamond UFO Over D.C

December 13, 1961 — Washington D.C.
5:05 p.m. William John Meyer Jr., an ex-Navy pilot, along with Gerald E. Weber and a university guard, all observe a silent, dark gray, diamond-shaped object about 20 feet long in Washington, D.C.. Weber notes a light on its underside, while Meyer sees a “pulsating orange-brown glow” in its center. Meyer watches it pass directly overhead at a steady speed and altitude, showing no wings, exhaust, or noise. All three witnesses give matching descriptions, and the object remains officially unexplained.
