July 20, 1958 — Glennie, MI — Object Impacts Private Lake

July 20, 1958 — Glennie, MI
3:00 p.m. Three widely separated independent witnesses at a small private lake 4 miles north of Glennie, Michigan, hear a noise like an object hitting the water and see a 10-foot circle of foam in the water, which is apparently sizzling. The object takes a zigzag path along the lake surface for 200 feet, making violent movements, then sinks into 50 feet of water. [Eberhart]
