A farmer named Britton sees two cigar-shaped UFOs traveling a straight course at high speed about one mile in height in trail formation near Dayton, Ohio. They leave a slight vapor trail then disappear suddenly. [Eberhart] This was back before they realized this matches a fireball description exactly and was almost certainly just a meteor.
